A Tailored Approach

My interest lies in understanding how our vocal habits are shaped by our experiences. Through years of experience, I've developed a unique approach to working with the voice that considers both the body and the brain. This approach informs my practice, but I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all teaching approach. As a coach, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals from different backgrounds, and I take pride in tailoring my approach to suit each client's individual needs. My goal is to apply my knowledge in a way that is most effective for you.

I have over two decades of experience as a professional voice coach, and in 2004 I proudly earned my MA from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. In 2008, I furthered my education by completing a PGCE from Cardiff University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching in a range of places and institutions, including working as a Lecturer in Voice at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff University, Swansea Met University, University of South Wales and Trinity College. I have been Voice Coach in Residence for Theatre Na nOg since 2010.

Bespoke Accent and Voice Creations

I’ll design a clear programme for our sessions, taking a layered approach to develop a bespoke accent or create a voice that allows you to put your character into context, and build a deeper connection with your story and the audience.
